Meet A Personal Trainer

Hey Ladies if you are looking to get fit for your wedding day how about a personal trainer. Meet Kyle Anderson a personal trainer from Game 7 Fitness. We did an interview with him that is very interesting and we know you will enjoy it too. Be sure to register and attend a Rock The Aisle Bridal Show to meet with a trainer!

What sets Game 7 Fitness apart from other gyms?

At game 7, we’re really raising the bar for what a gym experience should be. First and foremost we are a private facility, operating by appointment only. This means that when you come in to train, our gym is your gym. No waiting for equipment, no obnoxious crowds to annoy you, and under the guidance of our trainers, no confusion as to what you should be doing.

We’re also raising the bar regarding the expertise of our trainers. Unlike most other gyms, we require that our trainers hold fitness-related college degrees or elite fitness certifications. The truth is that becoming a personal trainer is very easy, which is why there are thousands of terrible personal trainers in NJ alone. We make sure that we hire only the most elite personal trainers to help you achieve elite results.

Lastly, Game 7 offers a lighthearted, fun environment that is quite uncommon of other training studios. Most people think of a personal trainer as somebody who is going to yell, demand perfection, and punish you for making mistakes. Spend one session with us and you’ll see that our community of trainers and clients are some of the friendliest people you have ever met!

How do you make a  brides or grooms big day special?

When it comes preparing a for a wedding, our biggest mission is to make sure our clients feel confident and comfortable with their appearance on the big day. It’s going to be one of the best days of their lives, but the being in front of a large group of people is stressful if you aren’t comfortable with how you look. By helping our clients achieve their dream bodies, we allow them to STOP stressing about it and more fully enjoy their wedding! Plus, you only have one chance to take wedding photos. Why not be the best version of yourself on your wedding day and have that memory captured forever?

How many months out from the wedding should a bride and groom work with a personal trainer?

The answer to this question is going to be highly individualized and depends on a number of factors including the person’s goals, how much time they can dedicate to training, and lifestyle choices (diet, smoking, sleep, etc). No two people will progress at the same rate! Because of these factors we don’t offer fixed time frame packages such “6 weeks to a flat stomach” programs (or other nonsense) at Game 7 Fitness. Cookie cutter programs simply don’t get the job done. We individualize everything we do for our clients to ensure optimized results for you.

Often times brides get so caught up in planning their dream weddings that they unknowingly put themselves last by either not contacting a fitness professional, or doing so too late in the process. So the bottom line is contact us early to provide yourself enough time to look exactly how you want to on your big day. We’d love to invite any and all interested brides in for a free consultation where we can learn more about your specific goals, give you a tour of the facility, and of course provide you a more accurate timeline as to how long we suggest training to accomplish your goals.

What is your favorite part about being a personal trainer?

This is an easy one. The best part of being a personal trainer is making a very real, substantial impact in somebody’s life and being part of their health journey. I have the privilege of watching my clients lose weight, get stronger, gain muscle, and get more confident week after week and that will never get old for me. The look that comes across a client’s face when they start seeing the results they have worked so hard for is what makes it all worth it.

What is your favorite part about being a vendor at a Rock the Aisle Bridal Show?

We love the environment that Rock the Aisle has created for vendors and brides alike. It is always a very light-hearted environment where everybody is just trying to have a good time and learn about how to create the best wedding experience possible. Being a part of that environment means that we get help more people feel great on their big day, so we greatly appreciate the opportunities that RTAB has given us to help people!

Meet Jillian a beautiful bride that Kyle worked with. Here is her testimonial of how Kyle helped her feel her best for her wedding day.

    rtablog

As a new bride-to-be, I set a goal for myself to lose 15 pounds for my wedding. In the first four months of dieting and working out on my own, I lost four pounds–not bad, but also not enough to reach my goal weight before my wedding. With only four months to go, I contacted Game 7 Fitness to start  a strength training program and began working with Fitness Coach Kyle Anderson. Over the course of 12 weeks, Kyle created customized strength training workouts specifically to help me reach weight loss and strength goals, and he also monitored my diet. And no, this did not mean going on some gluten-free/paleo/whatever fad diet is out there right now. Instead, Kyle gave me nutritional information to integrate into a lifestyle change (not just a temporary diet), and he never told me what to eat and what not to eat (and I did, in fact, eat a decent amount of cake over those 12 weeks). By week 11 I had lost 11 more pounds, reaching my weight loss goal a full month before my wedding and right before my final dress fitting! Even more than that, I can dead lift over 100 pounds and plank for over 3 minutes! I absolutely could not have achieved my weight loss and strength goals without Kyle’s guidance. I     never felt intimidated and he was a huge support over those 12 weeks. I absolutely 100% recommend working with Game 7 Fitness if you can!
