NJ WEDDING TUXEDO RENTAL TIPS

An easy thing to control on your wedding day is ensuring that the groom and wedding party’s tuxedos are ordered and standing by in time for the big day. To fully prepare yourself, we have provided some tips to help you stay on track!

The best time to start looking for a tux or suit is once the bridesmaid’s dresses have been selected. By this point, you have chosen your colors, which will make deciding on a vest and tie much simpler. The process to begin looking usually happens no later than four to six months before the wedding.

Not sure when everyone should be fitted? It may be best to get this out of the way as soon as a tux or suit is agreed upon. A few weeks before the tux shop’s fitting deadline, remind your party they need to be measured. It is also a good idea to call the shop to ensure they have received everyone’s information. A normal deadline is usually two months before the expected pickup date, in order to guarantee they will be ready for the wedding date.

About two days before the wedding, the tuxedos will need to be picked up! Remind your groom to try it on in order to ensure he won’t need any last minute alterations or to correct a size mix-up. Also, double check that all accessories, including a cummerbund, cufflinks, and shoes are included!
