Top 5 Signature Drinks

Choosing a signature drink for your wedding sometimes can be a difficult task. So we put together a few of our favorite drinks we know you will love and will start you thinking about your own signature drink. 

1. Manzarita

A fall feel to a summer favorite. The Manzarita combines the traditional tequila of a margarita with the traditional autumn apple and cinnamon.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lemon, quartered
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Ice
2 ounces blanco tequila
1 ounce elderflower liqueur
1 1/2 ounces apple cider
1 cinnamon stick

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the lemon quarters with the ground cinnamon. Add ice and the tequila, elderflower liqueur and apple cider and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with the cinnamon stick.

 

 

2. Autumn Cranberry Old Fashioned

A classic drink that everyone  loves perfect for the fall. 

INGREDIENTS

2.5 oz. bourbon (I used Bulleit)
1 tsp. cranberry simple syrup*
5-6 fresh cranberries
2 slices autumn tangerine or satsuma
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Sugared cranberries* and cinnamon stick to garnish

Muddle tangerine or satsuma and fresh cranberries in the bottom of an old fashioned glass. Add cranberry simple syrup, bitters, and bourbon. Stir briefly and add one large ice cube. Garnish with sugared cranberries on a pick and a cinnamon stick.

 

3. Blueberry Mojito 
Just in time for any Spring wedding, this will be a perfect signature drink. 
 
INGREDIENTS 
 2 oz white rum 
3/4 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 cane syrup
mint leaves
blueberries 
 
Pour cane syrup into a Collins glass, then add mint; gently press leaves using a muddler, add blueberries and repeat. Add rum and lime juice, then stir well; top with shaved ice and swizzle. Top with soda and blueberries. 
Notes: Cane syrup can be substituted for simple syrup made with 2 parts turbinado sugar to 1 part water. Cheers, and enjoy this first spring weekend!
 

4. Champagne Mojito

Combining two of our favorite drinks champagne and a mojito for a perfect signature drink.

INGREDIENTS 

6 fresh mint leaves
3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
1 ounce Simple Syrup
1 1/2 ounces rum, preferably 10 Cane
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 ounces Champagne or Prosecco, chilled

In a cocktail shaker, muddle together mint, lime juice, and simple syrup to release mint oils. Add rum and bitters; shake over ice. Strain into a cocktail glass or coupe. Top with Champagne.

 

 

5. Sweet Ginger

INGREDIENTS 
1 1/2 oz Bacardi Rum

3/4 oz Canton Ginger

3/4/oz Creole Shrub

1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice

1/2 oz Ginger Juice

2 dashes Falernum Bitters

Pour Bacardi Rum, Canton Ginger, Creole Shrub, Fresh Lime Juice, Ginger Juice and add two dashes of Falernum Bitters into a pint glass. Set up rocks glass with fresh Ice. Add ice to pint glass and shake for 10 seconds. Pour with strainer into rocks glass. Garnish with candied ginger.
